Voor dit project heb ik de regie en cinematografie verzorgd, gebaseerd op een concept van Tessel Eva de Boer en uitgevoerd in samenwerking met Academie Artemis voor Filling Pieces. In een minimalistische studio bracht ik dans, mode en creativiteit samen in een vloeiende visuele vertelling.

Vijf dansers, elk met hun eigen stijl, vinden elkaar in beweging, verf en een touw dat hen symbolisch verbindt. Mijn focus lag niet alleen op het vastleggen van de choreografie, maar vooral op de energie, emotie en vrijheid in hun bewegingen. Alles moest natuurlijk aanvoelen, alsof beeld en gevoel samensmelten. Dit project gaf me de kans om storytelling, ritme en cinematografie op een speelse en visueel krachtige manier te laten samenkomen.

For this project, I handled the direction and cinematography, based on a concept by Tessel Eva de Boer and executed in collaboration with Academie Artemis for Filling Pieces. In a minimalist studio setting, I merged dance, fashion, and creativity into a fluid visual narrative.

Five dancers, each with their own unique style, connect through movement, paint, and a rope that symbolically ties them together. My focus was not just on capturing the choreography but primarily on the energy, emotion, and freedom in their movements. Everything had to feel natural, as if image and emotion seamlessly blended together. This project allowed me to bring storytelling, rhythm, and cinematography together in a playful yet visually powerful way.
