Description

For this project, I handled the direction and cinematography, based on a concept by Tessel Eva de Boer and executed in collaboration with Academie Artemis for Filling Pieces. In a minimalist studio setting, I merged dance, fashion, and creativity into a fluid visual narrative.

Five dancers, each with their own unique style, connect through movement, paint, and a rope that symbolically ties them together. My focus was not just on capturing the choreography but primarily on the energy, emotion, and freedom in their movements. Everything had to feel natural, as if image and emotion seamlessly blended together. This project allowed me to bring storytelling, rhythm, and cinematography together in a playful yet visually powerful way.
